    Pandaw Cruise – A Floating Family Home.

Each Pandaw Cruise was designed as copies of colonial river boiler and teak by traditional craftsmen are in themselves objects of great beauty.     1. Day1 Saigon / My Tho

      Transfer from the Renaissance Riverside Hotel in Saigon to the port of My Tho by coach to embark cruise.

    2. Day2 Sa Dec / Gien Island

      Take an exciting Sampan boat excursions to Sa Dec via Vinh Long aling canals and backwaters to see the local market and the ancient house of Mr Huyn Thuy Le, ”The Lover” of Marguerite Duras, a famous French novelist. Afternoon visit Gien Island, walking tour into this Catholic farmer’s village, discover the life of the Catholic farmers and visit one of the oldest Catholic Church in Vietnam.

    3. Day3 Chau Doc / Border Crossing / Ba Phnom

      Visit a Cham tribal village, a cat fish farm. Return to the ship by boat for lunch and cast off for the Cambodian border for the usual formalities. Travel by coach to Ba Phnom one of the first religious and cultural sites in Cambodia and may be considered a birthplace of the Cambodian nation.

    4. Day4 Phnom Penh

      Passengers will visit Phnom Penh and will be provided with their own private cyclo*. The Cyclo Centre Phnom Penh which provides the cyclos is a charity that provides basic welfare and medical services to cyclo drivers (www.cyclo.org.uk).

      In the afternoon, optional excursion (by coach) to the Killing Fields and the Khmer Rouge’s grim Tuol Sleng or S21 detention centre. This tour is included in the cost of your cruise but must be requested at the time of booking in the comments box.

    5. Day5 Silk Island / Village Stops

      No fixed schedule, captain and pilot will look out wherever the river allow us to stop

    6. Day6 Kampong Cham / Wat Nokor / Chlung

      Wat Nokor is a modern Theravada Buddhist pagoda squeezed into the walls of an 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine of sandstone and laterite. It is a kitsch kind of place and many older building’s archways have been incorporated into the new building as shrines for worship. It is a peaceful to wander among the many alcoves and their hidden shrines. There is also a large reclining Buddha.

      Chlung, walk along the road fronting the river contains a series of French colonial and Chinese style buildings, some in disrepair, others serving as family home

    7. Day7 Kratie

      We will travel by coach and transfer to boat to WWF protected area where we hope to see the rare river dolphins. The river here is rocky and not navigable for larger vessels. In the afternoon, there will be free time to explore the town of Kratie, another remnant of French colonialism. Overnight in Kratie.

    8. Day8 Kratie

      Visit to Phnom Sabok. Here passengers will visit a variety of small wats, monasteries and pagodas at the top of the hill and experience a wonderful view over the Mekong and surroundings areas. Afternoon continue to cruising downstream.

    9. Day9 Kampong Chnang / Tonle Sap Lake

      Excursion up the Tonle River to Kampong Chhnang either by ship or by coach depending on the water levels. In Kampong Chhnang passengers will take a wonderful motor boat excursion into the lakeside wetlands that form the mouth of the river. Here many fishtraps may be seen.

    10. Day10 Battambang

      Battambang is Cambodia’s second most populous city and a popular tourist destination due to the many nearby ancient temples, Buddhist Shrines and the infamous bamboo railway.

    11. Day11 Kampong Chnang / Tonle Sap Lake

      Early morning visit The Prek Toal one of the most intact areas of freshwater swamp forest around Tonle Sap Lake. Breakfast on board. Coach transfer to the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa in Siem Reap. Refreshments will be provided and we will stop at Kampong Thom along the way. Arrive at Siem Reap mid afternoon.

      * Transfer by coach from Kampong Cham to Siem Reap takes approx 5 hours

    • Cancellation before 120 days prior to the start of the cruise:30 % of the total rate
    • Between 120 and 61 days prior to the start of the cruise: 50 % of the total rate
    • Between 60 and 30 days prior to the start of the cruise: 70 % of the total rate
    • Less than 30 days prior to the start of the cruise: 90 % of the total rate
    • 15 days or less: 100% of the cruise price
