    1. Detail Itinerary Vietnam tour World Heritage Sites of Vietnam

      Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi, check-in to a downtown hotel in the heart of the Old City with the afternoon free to relax or explore the area, before an evening trip to see the unique water-puppet show.

      Day 2 Day tour of some of this beautiful old City, with it’s French colonial ambience. Sites include Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, the 11th century University, Hoan Kiem Lake and a stroll through the bustling back streets of the old quarter.

      Day 3 Departure for Halong Port where we’ll board the Bai Tho Junk for a journey through the dramatic limestone scenery of the World Heritage Halong Bay. Local fishermen over the years have given names to the various isles, caves and coves that make up the Bay of the Descending Dragon. Amongst other sites, you’ll visit the Monster Head and Teapot Islands, Oan Lagoon, Titop Beach and Surprise Cave. Explore the islands, visit the grottoes and swim on the beaches, before dinner on board and overnight on the junk. (Traditional wooden style, yet now equipped for visitors with air con and en-suite cabins).

      Day 4 Early rise for dawn over Halong Bay before continuing the visit with stops at Man’s Head and Tortoise Islands, plus a tour of one of the picturesque lagoons by local rowing boat. Return to Halong Port via Bai Tu Long Bay and transfer to Hanoi.

      Day 5 Leaving the capital we’ll head into the scenic mountainous region of Hoa Binh Province where we’ll continue to Pu Luong – one of Vietnam’s remotest and most spectacular national parks. Afternoon hike to discover the regions amazing flora and fauna and overnight in the ethnic White Tai village of Mai Chau.

      Day 6 Scenic drive through the lush paddy fields and jagged limestone escarpments of this region, sometimes known as the ‘Halong of the rice fields’, to the remarkable cave system of the Trang An Grottoes. Rowing boats will take us through the labyrinth of caves, tunnels and emerald streams for a fascinating visit before continuing to Ninh Binh Town to board the night sleeper train.

      Day 7 Morning arrival at Dong Ha and a chance to discover the country’s more recent history with a day trip to the infamous DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) to visit some of the key sites of the Vietnam War. Sites to include the Vietcong tunnels at Vinh Moc, Hien Luong Bridge on the 17th parallel which marked the border between former South and North Vietnam, and Khe Sanh Combat Base – scene of some of the most intense fighting of the war. Overnight in Hue.

      Day 8 Time to check out the numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites of this historic city and former imperial capital. Morning cruise by dragon boat along the Perfume River to visit some of the majestic tombs of the former emperors and afternoon walk around the ancient citadel.

      Day 9 Short, scenic drive to nearby Hoi An Town with a stop on the way at the beautiful and spectacular beach at Lang Co, and an afternoon tour of the old town and waterfront area. Well-preserved and charming, Hoi An (now UNESCO World Heritage Site) was one of Southeast Asia’s most important ports during the 17th to 19th centuries.

      Day 10 Morning trip to the atmospheric ruined temples of ancient My Son City – Vietnam’s most important site of the former Cham Empire. The city was occupied from the 4th to 13th centuries, before succumbing to its powerful Khmer and Vietnamese neighbours. Return to Hoi An and a free afternoon to discover the picturesque old streets at your leisure, visit the bustling silk market or bicycle down to the nearby beach for a dip or massage.

      Day 11 Time to explore some of the sites of the Danang region with a visit to the famous China Beach, Marble Mountain and the fascinating Cham Museum before is departure

    The booking process is represented through 5 steps below:

    Step 1: Check Rates

    Fill in the numbers of adults, children and infants of your group, enter your departure date and click ‘Check Rates’ button, you will see the accommodation prices.

    Once you selected an accommodation, click ‘Book It’ button to continue.

    Tips: To get more special discounts, please take a look at ‘Trip saving for booking together’ section where you can check rates and get a discount for booking 02 services at the same time. The discount amount ranges from US$3 to US$60 per room per night (hotel) or per pax (tour).

    Step 2: Book Extra Services

    This step meets your needs in booking optional services like transfer, visa, kayaking or other interesting activities related to your current booking.

    Tips: Don’t forget to book hotels, tours together in this step! It’s a smart way to get more savings.

    Step 3: Submit Booking

    Here you can review, add or remove your booking items, complete and submit your booking form.

    After your booking is submitted, the system navigates to a ‘Thank you page and send you an automatic email listing all the services you requested.

    Our travel consultant will get in contact with you within 01 working day to inform about the service availability & payment.

    Step 4: Confirm Availability & Deposit

    1. Check availability :

    After receiving your booking request, our consultant will check the availability of the services. If the services are available, our consultant will send you a payment link for the deposit by email, otherwise we will give you some alternative suggestions.

    Notice: our email may go to your spam mailbox, please check your spam mailbox if you don’t receive our response in one working day.

    2. Deposit:

    After receiving the payment link in the email sent from our consultant, please make the deposit as soon as possible to secure your booking. When we receive your deposit payment, our consultant will reserve the services for your booking as following:

    If all of the services are reserved successfully, we will send you a Confirmation Email including the deposit invoice and other useful information

    If the services are fully booked and are not available, we will inform you and suggest other options. In case you no longer want to book these services, we will refund all of the deposit amount.

    Notice: Your booking will NOT be confirmed until we send you the Confirmation email. The remaining balance can be paid later – before departure date. For some urgent bookings or special types of promotion, 100% of the total cost will be required.

    Step 5: Final Payment

    The full payment must be made before your departure date. The exact deadline will be confirmed by our travel consultant depending on each service you booked.

    The remaining balance can be paid by Cash (VND, USD, AUD, EUR) or by credit card. For the customers who’re going to stay in Hanoi, we are able to setup a direct meeting to collect the final payment.

    Notice: Payment by cash on arrival is only applied for trips starting from Hanoi and the arrival date is before the payment deadline (confirmed by our travel consultant). All currencies are exchanged by local rate.

    At the end of booking process, on the “Make a booking” page, you can enter any special requests into the “Special Request” box before submitting your booking. Another easy way is sending us your special request directly by email.

    The deposit is required to guarantee your reservation (tours, hotels, transfer, etc.). After receiving your deposit, we’re going to reserve the services for you. So the deposit is required to secure your booking. Normally, 30% of total cost will be required for deposit at the booking time.     Normally Journey Expedition Travel includes two meals each day during tour: Breakfast and Lunch. You will have the freedom to make your own dinner choice.

    Breakfast

    It is normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, the breakfast would be in western style, local style, or a combination.

    Lunch

    Lunches are usually set menu at handpicked local restaurant with comfortable dining environment where you can rest assure to taste the local flavor. All restaurants arranged by Indochina Odyssey Tours selected carefully and evaluated constantly based on customer feedback and our on-site inspection.

    Dinner

    Dinners will not be included in your meal plan unless you have that requirement. Enjoying the local food could be one of your best experiences in “tasty” Indochina area. This is why we provide you this flexibility of food choice. Your private guide will always give you good suggestions based on your preferences.

    If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your needs
